Masters of the Veil Review $100 Giveaway
I recently got to read “Master of the Veil” by Daniel Cohen. While it’s not my USUAL chosen genre (Vampire Porn, according to my honey), I still like reading about anything paranormal and magic & such! I really did enjoy it. I’m even gonna pass it on to Tristan soon. It would be a great book for him, I think.
Turns out, I’m a “Flathand” and I sure wish I weren’t! I wish I could use the Veil like Sam does. The veil? Yes. It’s what the people of Atlas Crown use to make their magic. Sam was just an ordinary teenager…a promising football player until his “hiccup”. He meets so many creatures and interesting people along his journey.
Daniel Cohen did an amazing job painting the picture of Atlas Crown in my head. I felt like I was there with Sam and May. You HAVE to read this book. Such a unique turn on the derision and use of magic. I can’t wait for the next book in the trilogy!
