Get Computer Help from Home
I recently worked with the people of Computer Help Today to clean up and speed up my laptop. It’s the “whole family” computer, so you can imagine what all was on it & how much abuse it takes. If you have a computer, you know how slow it can become and how important it is to keep it cleaned out & free of viruses. But what if you can’t do it yourself? That’s when you call someone to do it for you. You can choose to ship your computer off to goodness knows where or choose an in-home service. The easiest way to do that is to get remote assistance. You don’t have to have anyone come to your house. All it takes is a simple phone call. After an easy download of their remote assistance client you’re ready to roll.
The whole process took about two hours. I took a nap while the remote tech did his thing! They added some nice software to my computer for my future needs like an anti bot kit and an anti malware program that weren’t included in my regular antivirus. Now Gwen says “It’s so much faster, mommy! I can finally play Poptropica!” When he was finished, the tech called to tell me they were finished and what he had done. He also said that they hadn’t found any major virus issues; which was a great load off my mind! There were some broken registry files that they cleaned up, and lots of cookies but my antivirus was doing it’s job.
If you don’t want or don’t feel comfortable with the idea of remote assistance, they also have an onsite partnership with Geeks Mobile USA to come to your house and help you out! I didn’t get to try the in-home service, but I’m sure it’s just as great, quick and easy as the in-home service.
