I LOVE to make my Nook “my own”. I also am happy when I find a great product to protect it. The Nook was a big investment and is very special to me. My honey bought it for me as our “15 year and one week anniversary” gift! I do everything I can to keep it safe and working great. I stumbled across Oberon Design and fell in love with their beautiful cases. I chose the Tree of Life Nook Case. It’s 100% Handcrafted and made in the USA. It’s also amazingly detailed. There was certainly a lot of thought put into the design of it.

It protects my Nook wonderfully! It was a bit stiff at first, but with use has become a lot more pliable and I can turn the front around toward the back easily now. It has several “bungee” type straps to hold it in, and a metal one. There is also a small pocket on the left when you open it up and you can use the inside to hold things, too. I stick my license in there sometimes! It has an elastic closure that hooks over a pewter button on the front that has a design to match the cover.

The case also has a string on the inside that you can pull through and hook to the button so you can use it “stand”ing on it’s own. Kind of like an easel. It also came with a “card” that gives you a small charm to match the case. I haven’t done anything with it, yet but I think I’ll be adding it to my case with a dangle.

Oberon doesn’t only do covers for Nook, though. They also offer cases for your iPad, Kindle Fire, other tablets and journals and sketchbooks! They even have purses, wallets and pewter jewelry! I received a barrette and paisley earrings. Beautiful! The ear-wires are nickel-free, which is a plus for me because I can’t wear anything “fake”.
